Old Pier Leith photographed using a 30 second exposure and an ND filter and a tripod. This was shot on one of my recent Private Custom Tours Scotland. It is always good to experiment in photography and I much prefer to do it in camera rather than using editing software. There is an Andrew Gormley statue at the end of the pier. The National Monument of Scotland, Calton Hill, Edinburgh. The monument is one of the most iconic sights in Edinburgh. My Edinburgh Photography Tour starts right in front of this incredible structure.

The standing stones at Cairn Holy were shot on one of our Private Custom Tours Scotland. Cairn Holy is the location of 2 Neolithic chambered tombs of the Clyde type. On Misty or foggy days this place has so much atmosphere and affords many wonderful photographic opportunities. There are standing stones and burial chambers here.
Hairy Coo, shot on one of our recent private custom tours of Scotland. I have sometimes been called the “cow whisperer” as I am able (lord knows how) to get the attention of the magnificent beasts and thus, gives my clients perfect opportunities to photograph these beautiful creatures. Edinburgh Castle from Princes Street, looking west, on our Edinburgh Photography Tour on a broody day. The Edinburgh photography tour is not just a tour of Edinburgh, it is also a core photography lesson and ranked among the best in the world. I have been providing quality photography tours in Scotland of over 13 years, teaching photographers of all levels how to get the very best from their cameras. One key aspect is to teach them how to shoot in manual mode, while enhancing their composition skills.
